Hello! I have had the same issue like yours for 2 years already. At the beginning I couldn't feel any smell, however after some time I started smelling different odors and I thought that it is everything else but not me until the people around me would make comments when I pass smelly gases. I made allergy test-diaries and gluten was positive. As well as when I eat fish, legumes and eggs, I have odor. No processed foods too though I am tempted most of the times... tmau for me does not exit. Bacteria imbalance exist which is probable in my case since i took thousands of antibiotics for BV. I have been to colorectal surgeon a week ago and I am waiting now my insurance to approve a pelvic mri which will trace the bowel movement. I am sure I have mucosal prolapse because when I strain I feel blockage and disgusting or not but I need to use the finger for passing whatever has left in the rectum. I went to the beach few days back. It was very hot outside. I entered the house and felt the fart smell. When I went to the toilet I had stool my rectum but didn't feel it before that. I hope I don't have any damages on the nerves but it is just the prolapse. Also.. must say that I have hemorhoids which i removed with rubber band but came back. There is fissure too which is covered with skin. What i do every morning is squizzing lemon,2 spoons of chia seeds and water and I drink it. I have started since 3,4 days and I can see improvement. Will let you know what happens once I complete the test. But keep your head up! Life is putting you on the test nice things will happen, just don't give up! There is solution for every problem!
