you are absolutely correct. certain things about the body create a receiver for such energy. this is the manna from heaven that jesus spoke of. since it is real and there, other traditions have discovered it and named it different things.

think samson and the vow of the nazarite.

in this particular case, i think the revelation is correct. he will eat of your things and you will eat of his things. this is not a random process. this is the creation of the son of man. the son of perdition can likewise be built. both are voluntary, of course.

Isaiah 28

they that are fooled fool themselves. god doesnt make fools, people do.

"Food and Drink" refers to a person's (human being's) sustenance.

In Christ, we are SOULS and OUR SPIRIT (character/attitude/demeanor) is to be as the "HOLY SPIRIT (peaceful and true/contrite).

Rom 14:17
For the kingdom of God is not food and drink but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit;

The way of the Jews that accepted the "Prince of Peace"/Messiah (and who did not ALSO accept the "Wonderful Counselor"/HOLY SPIRIT, Isaiah 9:18)
was to use SCRIPTURE TEXT (instead of a peaceful spirit) as their 'SUSTENANCE'....We are to use the HOLY SPIRIT as our sustenance.
