A few days ago, I wrote a message about my cousin who's been hospitalized for adult T-cell Leukemia/lymphoma and HyperCalcemia. The doctor has given her the options to choose either going to an hospice to await her death or agreeing to a fourth chemo treatment which might help control the cancer but will eventually destroy the little that's left of her immune system.
She's having a hard time to decide, and she has until tomorrow to let the doctor know. She's ambivalent towards trying alternative treatments or proceeding with the chemo treatments. She's asking the family to help her decide. I'm not sure of how to guide her. Any ideas?
