I wondered if there may be a common nutritional issue between this issue and stretchmarks--both their occurence and their healing. Stretchmarks seems to be on skin that neither stretches nor shrinks easily.
Anyone have insight about the fundamental health problem in a case like this? And how to go about healing it?
There is some research out there that a zinc deficiency has something to do with stretchmarks. Proper nutrition, and at least 2000mg of Vit C daily helps the skin stay firm while losing weight.
