Should eczema scabs be rubbed off or not? I've heard both sides ... no they shouldn't be rubbed off, because they protect the skin underneath and they'll fall off on their own ... or yes they should be rubbed off, the scabs contain toxins and they should be rubbed off and the raw skin underneath moisturized to prevent permanent scabs ...- Re: Eczema scabs zonnia1100

MoreThis is a reply to # 2,237,507Based on my experience, rubbing the scabs off was easy but you will leave the skin underneath raw and painful and can lead to skin discoloration. After learning that, I just let the scabs fall off on their own when they're ready.

This is a reply to # 2,237,507You don't have to scrub off the eczema scabs as they will fall off by themselves. If you scrub them off, you might damage the skin underneath that hasn't form a new protective layer. You can check the whole information about eczema treatment in http://vanisheczema.com/
