Sorry, can't help with classification...however thank you for contributing to the general compendium of knowledge re: (the) morgellons disease here on curezone. There are now at least 7 arthropods (thrips, adelgids, fleas, bedbugs, mites, collembolans and midges) that have been documented as probable vectors in (the) morgellons disease.
This suggests that the morgellons disease is not a specialized parasite, (as in the malaria mosquito or lyme/deer tick relationship) but a more generalized and adaptive pathogen.
