I've been suffering with hand pain due to an overuse/ trauma injury to my wrist. I went back to my specialist with the same pain i was having before. Considering it was unresolved i though i should go back to her for another evaluation. After dismissing it as soft tissue pain i decided to bring up the fact that i have numbness in my pinkie and ring fingers and some places in my arm. She tapped my elbow a couple of times and diagnosed me with cubital tunnel syndrome (ulnar nerve entrapment/compression). Today i went to get an NCS to confirm and the neurologist said my ulnar nerve was fine. The neurologist got a pin and started probing my fingers and saw that my pinkie and ring finer had less feeling. He than proposed the idea that it could be in my back/neck/ shoulder. I used to get really bad numbness at the back of my neck and left shoulder. I am also very stiff when pressed on this area. He said that the problem could be in my back which could cause the numbness in my fingers and weakness and what not. I am going to get an MRI of my spine or neck or whatever part of my back in a month or so. I've always had this bump on my neck and never thought anything of it until now. If I have suffered from numbness in my neck/shoulder/arm could it be related to this bump? Has anyone ever had a bump like this. I know some peoples spines may stick out a little bit and that its normal but if i've had all these neurological problems? I've provided some pictures below so you get a clearer idea of what i'm talking about. And the arm i got tested for the ulnar nerve problems was my left arm if that makes a difference haha.
