Hello,
Interested in home ozone insufflation and attempting to figure out if there is any possible way of being able to do this without spending 1000+. According to what I have read so far, the CONCENTRATION level of ozone is HUGELY important. : )
According to healyourselfathome site, levels above 72 ug/ml
have been shown to suppress the immune system and inhibit tissue generation. So too much is NOT good, just like H202.
Pure medical Ozone is only necessary when working with blood, (autohemotherapy). However, apparently there are no affordable machines out there that can give you a calibrated dose of ozone, so it appears I have been wasting my time looking. Yes, the synergy machines on ebay claim to produce up to 80 ug/ml output, however, that is too high, and since the knob is uncalibrated, it's impossible to tell how much one is getting. Even the longevity machines don't produce more than 50 ug/ml.
What I did find is HG1500 lab quality (Glass
PTFE (Teflon®)Stainless Steel EPDM Silicone High-density polyethylene) in ozone stream which is good, however according to the manual, (and my calculations), it puts out about 2051 ug/ml which means all that is really needed is a machine that puts out about 29 grams/hr. VS the HG1500 which puts out 1500gr/hr. Sounds like this would be great for infusing oils quickly though, and the synergy or longevity would take several weeks to make infused oil? Anyways, sounds to be like it takes VERY little ozone for insufflations, unless my calculations are off? Perhaps so, since the promolife folks claim there machine can make oil in 2 days but is only rated at 65ug/ml..
All this being said, looks like synergy may be the closest thing available that's somewhat affordable..if one were to take a good "guess" on how much is coming out to use it.., perhaps dialing it down to half by sound of the arc, since the dial effects current and not ozone volume.. Hmm... Thanks for any further insights, mainly wondering if my calculations are way off regarding the HG1500?
If all that's in the "medical" machines is a mere 25gr/hr generator then I need to go into business making them myself..: ) Probably less than $100 in materials even if only using the best of the best available IMO. But that's the medical industry for you, charge 10-100 times what something is actually worth. : )
