Hi guys! I've been a cavitation patient for well over ten years, during which I`ve been in pain the whole time. I`ve had countless surgeries, and at this point have lost all of my teeth. As you can imagine, my story is a long one, which I won`t bore you with, so I`ll just stick to my current issue.
Overall, cavitation surgeries have worked well for me, and have gotten rid of the pain in numerous sites, except for one...the area of my upper right canine tooth.
Last year, I had surgery by Dr. Evans at Groton Wellness, who was an AMAZING surgeon (highly recommended), and he found that what was causing my pain was no longer osteonecrosis, but rather scar tissue, called a granuloma. When he removed it, I had immediate relief, but like a lot of scar tissue, it has since grown back and I am now in awful pain again.
As I know that lasers are successful in treating scars, I`m taking a wild-card chance here and am asking if anyone knows a surgeon who treats cavitations using laser surgery.
Unfortunately, Dr. Evans doesn`t know anyone, and it`s been difficult to find someone out of the blue on the web. I know this is a longshot, but I`m hoping someone here can help.
Thank you!
