I am normally a strong proponent for vitamin C. I do so many protocols that sometimes I get slack with some things. I had slowly gotten away from large doses of vitamin C.
Recently I had a couple of days of feeling draggy and listless. Both feelings are very foreign to me. It occurred to me that I just might be getting the onset of a cold. I started taking 5,000 mgs of vitamin C every 3 hours. By the next morning I felt like my normal energetic self.
The unexpected benefit: for a couple of weeks I had a pain on the outside of my right leg, below the knee and above the ankle. I walk a minimum of 2 miles each day and the pain made the walk very difficult. The next morning I not only felt better, the pain was completely gone from my leg.
I kept my dosage at 5,000 mgs every 3-4 hours for 5 days and now do 3,000mgs each morning and each night. Back to my old feeling of being on top of the world.
I figure that there was some inflammation in my leg and the vitamin C got rid of it.
WOW!!! The wonders of vitamin C................
