I've taken glandulars. I first started with something from Standard Process and it was for the adrenal glands also took something for the thymus. Sorry, I don't remember the name offhand but it was recommended to me by a N.D. when my symptoms first started getting really out of hand many years ago. I tried the glandular for a short period of time because I didn't understand how to be patient and see if it was working though the practitioner said it was. That was when I first got really sick which was about a decade ago. I later took a glandular from a Dr. Wilson (not the Nutritional Balancing, Dr. Wilson) and it made me crash, it was too stimulating for my body. Now, I take an adrenal glandular from endomet and it has helped so much! At first when I stopped taking it I would get weak and sensitive easily but now I don't get as sick when I take breaks, though I can tell it still works and I still need it. I take it with NB supplements from TEI that were recommended to me from my hair analysis. The supplements and adrenal glandular are helping a lot. I'm far from being in good shape but am noticing steady improvement which is not something I've had in the past. Most things only worked for so long before I hit a plateau. I think the key is these help my body get my potassium levels up...I had similar results from eating tons of fried potatoes and coconut water everyday. The supplements have other things though for the adrenals besides potassium. We shall see if it continues working...

If you have a history of anxiety or panic attacks I'd stay away from whole adrenal extract. That is better for those with terrible fatigue and no anxiety--more on that if requested.

I'd start with adrenal cortex glandular. You'll see that in the writings of A. Cutler since adrenals and endocrine systems get hammered by heavy metals.
