My mom's Arthritis is getting better and better everyday!
She has had Arthritis in all of her hands (as did her mother) it was starting to create fungus around her fingernails and she despised it.
I bought her some topical Iodine and begged her to use it. She agreed.
She has been using it for several weeks now and well not only has the swelling in her joints gone down (not all the way ... yet) but this morning, I am excited to say that her fingernails released pus ( (sorry, i hate that word) but I am beyond thrilled! This means it is WORKING and her hands are getting healthier. Her nail beds look so clean and healthy ... I am so thankful.
I can truly say this is an answer to prayer for me and I know it is more so for her!!!
I hope this helps someone who comes across this.

Which Iodine is she using? Is she applying it topically to the fingers and all over her hands? Is she applying it every day?
Is it staining her skin?

This is a reply to # 2,207,549Yes, he is applying it topically to her cuticles. It does stain, but she puts it on at night and by morning, the stain is gone. I think I bought her the Walgreens brand of topical iodine. She refuses to take Lugol's, but I'm working on that!

This is a reply to # 2,208,266Actually, I was wrong. It's the CVS Iodine tincture. It's 47% alcohol and 2% iodine.

This is a reply to # 2,204,764we are happy for your good results. Iodine is a vitally important nutrient but it is not a panacea. be sure to combine the Iodine with a good naturopathic health protocol.

This is a reply to # 2,208,468I think my mom is finding out besides arthritis, it could be a mild form Paronychia. But the Iodine is helping and I am not sure what serrapetase is ... I will go look it up.
Also, my mom refuses to take supplements, she hasn't taken any type of pill or medicine orally for over 35 years - so I know she won't start now. So anything I can get her to do topically is a miracle.
Do you have any suggestions for someone who will not take supplements?
