This presentation is misleading. It lacks precision.
Whoever put this together was well-meaning but grossly ignorant.
For instance. Roundworm.
Ascaris is listed as Roundworm. Not a type of roundworm. Roundworm.
Some of the others in this thing.
Whipworm. Is a roundworm.
Pinworm. Is a roundworm.
Hookworm. Is a roundworm.
Definitions are very important. If you accept underpowered thinking as something to hold up you in turn will suffer from underpowered thinking. Fact.
Every time someone muddies the intellectual waters you get more mud. Less clarity.
Precision does count. For a lot.
You should demand no less from others in this field as well as from yourself.
You can rush to defend the original poster. You can rush to defend the presentation. You can rush to defend your comments.
But I implore you to think about that. We all need the sharpest tacks. To uphold dull tacks as sharp does a disservice. To everybody.

This is a reply to # 2,203,842The chart was made by a well meaning person on the CD fb groups. Some of the pics are from this site, where it's all guess and speculation as to what the specimens really are. It's not scientifically proven.
