This is a reply to # 2,197,852Thanks for posting. I haven't had time to go through all of it yet. I hope to get to it eventually. I've heard Kenneth Copeland say enough stuff that was off that I know to stay away from him. I like Norvel Hayes, but I haven't heard a lot of him either. I just liked some of his videos on youtube. I really don't know all that he believes. I don't think that it is true that all word of faith ministers believe that Jesus suffered in hell for our sins. I heard Benny Hinn say that he did not believe that. I know some of them believe that. That is pretty crazy. The Bible is very clear that it is the blood of Jesus that was shed on the cross that paid for our sins. Jesus did descend into hell according to the Bible, but I believe He was doing a work there during that time. Maybe that is when He made a show of them openly, or maybe that is when He preached to those in captivity. I know He was not being tortured by satan. I don't know everything that word of faith believes, but I have a feeling that they do have some truth that is surrounded by a lot of dirty bath water that needs to be drained out from them. This is one of the things that I've been wanting to study. Your videos should help me do this. Now all I need to do is find the time. Sometimes, I think, I just want to stick with the Bible and forget all these ministers, but that is easier said than done. Thanks again for the information.

Benny Hinn may not believe Jesus paid for our sins in hell but we know he's got enough other false doctrines. I think the Copelands, Kenneth Hagin, Fred Price, Joyce Myers and maybe some others do teach that Jesus suffered in hell for our sins though. Yes I agree, that the bible is very clear that it is the blood of Jesus that was shed on the cross that paid for our sins. Jesus said, "It is Finished" right before he died.
I don't usually put up something that long, but I thought it was well worth listening to. He even answered some scriptural questions I had struggled with. But take your time listening to them. They should still be here when you have some spare time.

This is a reply to # 2,198,097Yikes, these words sound to me like someone speaking who is in the flesh and very angry. How much better it would be to be filled with the Holy Spirit and to walk in the Spirit. The words that come out of our mouths would be so very different than our fleshly rants. We have to be continually filled with the Holy Spirit or He does have some way of leaking out of us which causes us to walk in the flesh. I know I am guilty of not staying continually filled myself. I reckon I have proven that on this forum at times when I wrote and posted things in the flesh. May God forgive me and may the people and readers of this forum forgive me. Holy Spirit, keep me filled with you.

A huge portion of the teachings that come out of TBN are shocking and blasphemous. I would love for every christian out there to rise up, take a stand, and boycott that network! I doubt I will die for making that statement. :)

In this video, some of the songs have been muted due to copyright laws, so don't think something is wrong with your sound like I did. :) Also, I noticed the sound in general was a little off at times.
Refreshed: I'm still not sure I understand what the bottom video was saying about people believing they are spirit. I realize that he was saying it leads to people believing they are gods, but did I miss something? I'm not getting the full message. I have always believed that God breathed into us and we became a living soul. When we believe in Jesus we receive the Holy Spirit. That is when we have salvation and God working through us and helping us.
Me: It was confusing but from what I got out of it, what they are teaching is totally different from believers receiving the Holy Spirit. They are teaching that we are little gods, that there is really no difference in God and us and that we can create, and do anything else God does because now that we have become believers, our deity has been restored, and we are like Adam originally was, just like God. It's just like the lie of Satan, enticing Eve with the idea of being just like God.
Refreshed: Jesus return quickly. I don't think I can bear hearing much more of this.

Like Justin Peters said, Job is the elephant in the room for the word of faith teachers, that they try to ignore.
If only they would read Job 38-42, as well as all of Job and then proclaim like Job:
Job:42
2“I know that you can do all things,and that no purpose of yours can be thwarted.
3‘Who is this that hides counsel without knowledge?’
Therefore I have uttered what I did not understand,things too wonderful for me, which I did not know.

The word of faith teachers have created something for sure. They have created a man-made religion that elevates man to the level of God and brings God down to the level of man.
But as Justin Peter's said, they will answer God on judgement day for this.
For them, this song should say "How can you say you are equal to God?" And while they proclaim to believe in God all day long, they don't believe in the God of the bible.

Refreshed, I fear it's even worse than we can imagine though.
I read this woman's blog (down below) periodically. She came out of Bill Johnson's church.
I just checked her latest posts. One of them was extremely alarming. What's happening in the name of Christianity is beyond words.
Disclaimer: I may or may not agree with everything this woman teaches since I have only read a small portion of her blog posts. But I really applaud her for putting this website up and all the effort she has put in it to help warn people about these dangerous churches and movements.

I wish these verses were not in he Bible but they are. What I am trying to figure out is if these people who preach that men are gods are just preaching the proper interpretation of these verses, or are they taking scripture out of context and twisting this to men that men are also "I am" like the new agers teach. I knew Kenneth Hagin taught we are gods. I didn't know Lake taught this. I want further explanation to see if they are preaching these verses correctly. So far I have not been able to uncover the truth of the matter in the amount of time I have spent on it. We know from Isaiah that there is no other "I am" or, God with the Capital "G" or, the God of the Most High. People do not get this difference. What exactly were these men teaching? What are they teaching about this? I want the truth about what they teach because I know I can't believe everything that is said about them either.
