Hey Ladies!
First I would like to share with you some wonderful news. I shrunk most of my fibroids by adhering to a natural, plant-based diet, taking supplements (no iodine), and sticking to a series of water fasts.
I am 34 years old and was officially diagnosed with 5 fibroids when I was 33.
I met with my doctor and he informed me that the only way to cure fibroids was to wait until menopause or have surgery. I decided that I was going to cure this naturally and went about it by conducting research on this site (thank you!).
Here are the measurements when I met with my doctor 12/3/2013:
Fibroids:
4.3 x 3.7/5.4 x 5.0/3.2 x 3.6/4.5 x 5.1/5.0 x 5.1
Enlarged Uterus: 8.7 x 9.5 x 6.5
Endometrial Lining/Thickness: 0.9
The following measurements were from 7/17/2014 (I did a 5 day fast a week prior to this appointment):
Fibroids:
4.8 x 5.1/4.5 x 4.3/2.9 x 3.2/2.5 x 2.9/2.3 x 2.5
Enlarged Uterus: 11.7 x 10.4 x7.1
Endometrial Lining/Thickness: 1.3
Now my question is why would my uterus be enlarged and why would the lining thicken? Is it because the fibrin that's being dissolved is not making its proper exit? Also, after my
Water Fast I had a period that was 9 days. It was accompanied with a few small clots that were meaty in texture so I'm assuming that it was my fibroids breaking down. At the moment I should've had my period a few days ago. I'm feeling plenty of abdominal pain (I never had cramps or pain during my periods and they've been 5-6 days long since I started eating healthy and taking the supplements last year and last month it was 9 days!).
I'm worried about the enlarged uterus but I am hoping that it's the fibrin floating around. I am considering doing another fast to get rid of the remaining fibroids.
How could you explain the increased thickness of the lining? Thank you all for your support and ladies, these are the books and nutritional guidelines that helped me.
