Medical marijuana and candida can have a tendency to occur together, yet this information is unlikely to make it into the debate on legalizing marijuana. Like tobacco smoke which has been found to lead to an increase in the occurrence of oral candida infections, smoking marijuana can have the same effect. Candida, however, has been reported to be higher in marijuana users compared with tobacco users.
A marijuana high can lead to a candida low.

First thought was mary-jane impairs and creates cravings for addictive foods like sweets, carbs, etc...
The whole history of marijuana stems back to a recommendation to put it on the ban list until further testing could be conducted on its safety. It didn't happen, nobody wanted to touch the topic, and it stayed a "controlled substance."- Re: Medical Marijuana and Candida Dr.Jeff

Would be interesting to see how the "non-THC" form(cannabis plants without THC) of medical marijuana ingested internally affects candida. According to Wikipedia the essential oil of cannabis contains terpenoids.
