Guys, 10% Benzoyl Peroxide applied lightly to just the skin part of your lips will stop the cracking, peeling and red blotches on the lips and commence rapid healing. Boom! Boy, am I proud of myself for nailing this one. I promise, it works every time, without fail. Why? Because this lip thing is eczema. Period. And eczema is a systemic bacterial infection. You're just gonna have to trust me on that. What is happening is this destructive bacteria is being pushed out of the pores along with the secreted body oils. And, because the lips are so oily to maintain protection, that's why they're so consistently affected with seemingly no rhyme or reason to the symptoms. Think about it. What else could do this to our lips besides bacteria. Bacteria, by nature, doesn't allow the body to heal. Where bacteria is, the wound stays open. The wound tries to heal, but it can't. And that's what happening to our lips. They're trying to heal, but they can't! The bacteria attacks, causing them to spit and peel. Then the lips quickly try to heal again - since the oral cavity is predisposed to healing quickly - but before it can complete the bacteria upticks again and that new skin just peels away. Repeat. Repeat. So, even if you don't have eczema anywhere else on your body, just know that this lip thing is unquestionably eczema (bacteria), and, Benzoyl Peroxide will kill the bacteria, just like it kills
Acne bacteria, and your lips immediately begin to heal, and fast. No more of that burning, raw tissue feeling after your lips peel. Ugh! You know what I mean. Also, be careful not to ingest the
Acne medication. Apply it light. And, most importantly, make sure it's an
Acne medication that has the 10% Benzoyl Peroxide and not Salicylic Acid 1% or some other active ingredient. That particular ingredient is used in quite a few acne creams, but that's not what you want, so make sure you read the ingredient label closely. Any brand with the Benzoyl Peroxide in it is fine. They're all basically the same, but I do think a cream is better than a gel because it stays on longer. Lastly, if this works for you (and it will!) post back so the word gets spread. We all need all the help we can get with this cursed problem, and this site is a labyrinth! Trust me, I got your back on this this 'cause I'm wicked smart. You'll see.
