Ok, so a family friend is 42 stone and has been told she has 6 months to live, of course she does not want to die and wants help to lose weight. The doctors told her she has 6 months to live because of her size, and they have pretty much just left her hanging. I have been asked to help her lose this weight and of course I will, I was thinking a juice fast for 2 months? I am not a nutritionist, expert, personal trainer or anything of the sort I am just an 18y/o girl willing to help save this persons life. I am also very familiar with fasting and weight loss do's and don't as I have invested a lot of time in researching health, big pharma, cures for stuff etc in regards to my own health issues which I am overcoming.
I believe you have to be supervised medically when carrying out a fast for longer than 30 days especially if you are of that weight, am I right in thinking that? If so should I call her local doctor to help supervise her on this fast?
Is 2 months long enough? I think it would be hard to do a fast for any longer than that amount of time, especially if you do not have much control over food to begin with.
If it is ok for her to do this fast with my help, my plan was to get her to eat healthy meals for a week - no fish or meat just complex carbs veggies fruit nuts legumes and then the next week replace a meal with a juice (20% fruit 80% veg) and then after 3 days replace another meal with a juice and then on the Monday of the 3rd week go full juice and start the juice fasting for 2 months. Then after that do parasite/liver/colon flushes to allow the body to release all those toxins that would have built up over the years from that way of living.
Is it safe for her to do a 2 month juice fast for that amount of time considering her weight and will that be enough time ?
Any help and advice is welcomed and will be much appreciated !!
