you should be able to find it at the store from $.89 to a dollar per gallon. most people drink a bit less than a gallon per day so what i do is just buy 5 or 6 gallons on sunday and i have my drinking water for the whole week. $25 per month isn't bad for pure drinking water. i dont worry about water i shower with.

There are many ways to make your own water distiller.
However, the biggest expense is not the device,
but the (usually electric) power it requires, because all that water has to be heated up, and kept at its boiling point for many hours.

than the one that your distiller makes.

Rain water is the cheapest distilled water.
However, often times it's no longer potable.
