Last week I found one pinworm. The following day I took Mebanozole. Three days later I found another live wriggling worm in my stool. In total I have only seen two. I have eliminated Sugar and carbs from my diet, and eating two cloves of garlic per day and lots of pineapple and veg only. I am bloated a week on. No itching and wriggling has stopped, but wondering why I have not seen any dead or live pinworms in my stools? Does this mean that they are still in the intestine? Is it likely I only had a small infection only seeing two. I think I may have had this for a year or so however as I've had all of the symptoms except seeing any. What should I do? Also, what colour are dead ones? I can see plenty of bits that look like dead worms (brown) but more certain its pineapple fibres.

For your chronic pinworm infection, taking a larger dose of Mebendazole for a longer period of time will provide better results for you.

I am going to take mebanozole x1 a week and continue with my diet of no meat no dairy, no carbs, no Sugar - only vegetables and garlic. (This seems to have helped alot. The itching has gone completely and I feel so sensation of wriggling at night. I think they are dead).
I think it's definitely pinworm as they look like pinworm.
I will keep updated on my recovery! If anyone knows what dead pinworms look like please let me know.

This is a reply to # 2,179,212They look like white threads, like rolled up bits of toilet paaper or the bigger ones look like white or cream colored worms. They can look like white flakes too. In my experience They would be in pockets. I would see them for awhile then be clear then see them again.
