An infrared sauna is probably one of the best investments you can make in your health. Infrared Saunas are completely safe. They do heat the body directly because they work on a principle call radiant heat which is similar to standing in the sun on a cold day. In an infrared sauna the technology is manufacturing body heat so your body absorbs this energy to charge the body and more efficiently carry out the body's metabolic process bringing the body to a level of homeostasis.
Infrared sauna is safer and more beneficial than traditional steam and hot rock saunas.
Traditional saunas work on a principle call convection. Just like in a oven you are heating the air and then the body for a nice slow roast. This type of heat only penetrates the body 3mm and of all the sweat produced only 3% contain toxins released from the body. There has never been an individual who has died from infrared sauna use. You cannot say the same for traditional saunas.
Infrared sauna heat penetrates the body 4cm deep and the sweat produces is 20% toxins being released from the body.
