Keep taking the medication that works for you. What I am going to suggest is in addition to medication. If it works for you then you should see relief from your symptoms and may be even a cure.
We can instruct our body to make changes because the body follows on what ideas and beliefs we uphold in mind, especially the ideas and beliefs we hold with confidence.
To make a mental prescription get yourself an MP3 player or other recording/ play back device.
First write down on paper what your symptoms are and the fact that they are post surgery. That means they came from having the surgery.
Then write that your body can and will heal completely. I have said this in a short form here but you can expand on this and give yourself positive ideas to overcome any negative ideas.
Then write that you can see yourself in the near future in your favourite activities and you're feeling good, that your nose is healed and that you are healthy and happy.
GO over what you have written and remove anything negative. For instance if you have written something like "I won't have any more scars". Replace this with positive "all the scar tissue is gone".
Record it on your MP3 player in your own voice and play it back to yourself, through earphones if possible and play it many times.
It can also be good to play it as you are falling asleep.
