Addielu...thank you for your response...One way or another people will pay for their mistakes, sooner or later. It is true that rape and incest is no fault of the woman's, but having an abortion is still not a legitimate or logical reason to destroy a precious life of the unborn. You mentioned that "...people make mistakes and that they (shouldn't) have to pay for their mistakes for the rest of their life and make another person suffer..." How insensitive and selfish that statement is.
Think about this: When an abortion takes place the unborn baby suffers excruciating pain. It has been proven that at 8 weeks they experience pain. Also, Jehovah God feels great sadness in His heart for every precious unborn life that is aborted. He knows that there are practical, reasonable, and loving ways to deal with unwanted pregnacies.
(1) Sexual abstinence: (1st Corinthians 6:18)
(2) Murder: (Exodus 20:13, Deuteronomy 5:17, Matthew 5:21,
Matthew 19:18, Luke 18:20, Romans 1:29, James 2:11)
is murder in God's eyes. The secular and political laws of
may have other ideas concerning the validity of having
abortions but it doesn't make it right in God's eyes. No
amount of legislation or bill signing of legalizing an
abortion is acceptable or approved by God.
Also, serious mental, emotional, social and even physical damage or issues is a real concern because of having an abortion.
