I am going through withdrawals from Pamelor and I get manic. My psyMD and the 2 pharmacists I trust said that they have never heard of this happening. I am only diagnosed w/ Depression but go into full-blown mania when I don't take this med. How can I stop the mania from coming on, it's already starting and I am on numerous other meds as well b/c of the severe Depression I have had for 15 years? I also take klonopins, claritin-d, vico-profin, darvicet, flexerol, nexium and I recently was put on Dalmane b/c of the insomnia I have been experiencing the last 4 months. Within 3 or so days, I will be completely manic and will be well on my way to losing all my marbles. Has anyone ever come off of Pamelor successfully or experienced the withdrawals I do or know how I can avoid the mania that is coming on?
