I KNEW you looked great! And single?! If I was single, I'd move to the states and take up river running!
Great site, guy. Wowee.
I, of course, live in Mexico... Cabo to be exact, at the tip of southern Baja. Been here 20 years, and love it! I am a dual citizen, and my partner Carlos is a real live Chilango (native of Mexico City)! I have built a great home on a great half a hectare (about 1 1/4 acre), but give Carlos full credit for our fabulous POOL!
I am a Mexiphile (another confession), and love nothing more than living and traveling throughout Mexico. My passions are mexican food and cooking (MARKETS!!), horseback riding in the back country, snorkeling in our faaaaabulous waters (we got two oceans here, must take advantage!), anything at all to do with the beach...
My fav-o-rite thing is go to a little place in the Vallarta area I have been frequenting since the 70s--you still have to get there by boat, so it is like an island. They only recently got power, but it is still very minimally used. Everyone lives in palm houses called palapas and very few people have windows or doors. I get a house (about $5 a night) as FAR from the beach as possible for at LEAST a month, hang my hammock, walk to the beach every day, and BACK (some killer hills and trails), and visit my personal private swimming beachette each morning and evening... and eat fresh fruit and seafood til it comes out both ears!! Swim in jungle waterfalls you have to hike 40 minutes to get to, watch macaws mate in the trees, orchids blooming wild... spend a night at a waterfall swim hole on a full moon... You know, the usual! I ALWAYS look and feel wonderful when I leave. I call it God's Health Spa.
One of the things I did to survive back when I had to work! ...I was working in hotel management, but still baked 30 loaves of beautiful whole grain breads every week, sold every crumb, plus biscotti, bagels, bagel chips... AND worked 6 days a week! Oh yeah. My dad taught me to bake bread when I was 5. What a gift!
GOOD TO BE HERE! Good to meet y'all (yes, I have Southern Roots)!
Love,
Somer
