Hello, all. I stumbled onto your site after just learning, today, about "liver cleanses" using epsom salt, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, etc. What got me onto the whole search anyhow is that I've recently done 2 organic coffee enemas, per the Gerson Therapy -- these are supposedly very powerful liver detoxification procedures. Anyhow, on Saturday and Sunday, I did the procedures, and also made the main part of my food intake those days, fresh green vegetable smoothies, and also on one day, a mixed greens salad and bruchetta (lots of garlic, onion, balsamic (vinegar) dressing, tomato... Anyhow -- here's where we get to my question. The day after my second coffee enema, I went back to my regular diet (not good, I know...) of some McD for breakfast...some fried chinese food for dinner...etc. That day, and the following day (today), I have had some pain in the upper-right part of my abdomen, just under the rib cage (where the liver is, yes?). So am I to believe I did cleanse the liver, and that perhaps the pain I feel is due to HEALING of the liver? Or am I to believe I have done damage? What do you think?
Thanks for your thoughts!
