I am no expert, either, but I did purchase Dr. Wilson's excellent book, "Nutritional Balancing and Hair Mineral Analysis" and read some interesting things there. He says that toxic metals "can act like crutches and prop up certain mineral readings." (page 227, chapter 20). Also, he says that aluminum is one of the easiest metals for the body to eliminate and that most of us are toxic with it. If this is the first big elimination for you, maybe you are a poor eliminator. Your practitioner can look at some of your other minerals and tell you if that's true. Each of us is unique, but I've been dumping aluminum steadily since the beginning. I've also had cadmium, lead, nickel, arsenic, and mercury come out. I don't consider myself a fast eliminator, really, though. My oxidation is quite slow. Maybe I just had so much junk accumulated that it has come out quicker?!?
Also, he says that low potassium indicates hidden copper toxicity. My husband's potassium has always been quite low, and he is just now starting to eliminate copper after 3 years on NB. BTW, he has never done
coffee enemas and refuses to!! They would certainly speed up the process of dumping copper and other toxins. IMHO, you are doing one of the very best detox methods by doing the ce's, and daily would be even better.
A lot of the information in Dr. Wilson's book is on his website. I'm glad that I have it, though, because he tells about many of his clients and the myriad of problems they presented with. So many went on to become very healthy. Unfortunately, some people chose not to continue with NB. It's helped steel my resolve to continue until I'm well. And, frankly, I've tried so many other things that I am out of options!!
