lipman
Hello people! I am an EC sufferer for about 3 years now, I'm wondering if any of you have noticed themselves to be mouth breathers. I know I am, and can control it during the day and make an effort to breath through the nose, but in the night time when I sleep I can't control it.
The mean reason which led me to believe that this might be related, is the fact that the area on the lip that is affected, is right in the center of the lip, where the lip comes in contact with saliva and breath, which in combination contributes to the cycle of drying, cracking, and eventually exfoliating lips.
Since fixing mouth breathing probably involves some sort of nasal surgery, I think maybe it's worth to try and improvise some sort of a protective coating to the lips that will prevent breath from coming in contact with the lips while sleeping, I haven't seen such e device anywhere on the web and something tells me it might worth a shot.
Please comment if you have any interesting thoughts.
I wish you all a healthy happy life and may we find our cure very soon!
