Is there a website/forum that people can discuss their reactions to hormones (other than CureZone)?
I started taking pregnenolone about 3 days ago and while it has helped my sleep and digestion tremendously, it is also making me: nauseous, dizzy, thirsty, have muscle pain, headaches, frequent urination, etc.
I'm on probably the equivalent of 1mg a day.
I generally don't tolerate ANYTHING anyway so this isn't a huge surprise but… it just sucks that its actually helping me sleep and go to the bathroom but everything else is going haywire.
According to my ASI, I'm high cortisol but I feel like the pregnenolone is making me low cortisol.
I'm definitely going to have to stop it… I can't cope with the side effects unless I can figure out how to manage them.

I think you might find it has completely crashed you...when you stop taking it you will see the damage :( it peps you up, but when those symptoms appear, its a crash being masked...well it was in my case, hopefully not in yours!

This is a reply to # 2,139,130Wired - I thought you had the exact opposite happen? I thought it made you more 'amped', chest pain, not peeing as much, etc.
Mine is like the complete opposite of that… very tired, more frequent urination, RIDICULOUSLY THIRSTY, headaches, nausea. I don't know what to make of it. Sucks so much because it actually helps me sleep. Oh well!
Moving on… I'll start researching my next treatment.

This is a reply to # 2,139,210It was absolutely bizzarre, some days it was extremely calming i could barely lift my head, some days it would be amping me up like no end...but the THIRST was there..but if it makes you tired, I would class that as a good thing. Especially as you said you have high cortisol....invoking a parasympathetic state is always a good thing in AF?
I took D-Ribose as part of Dr Lams protocol, Dr Myhill uses it in her Chronic-Fatigue-Syndrome protocol, so must be something good in it. But its not really about what we take, its when we take it, thats the tough bit to figure out.

This is a reply to # 2,139,128I had strongly stimulating reactions to 2.5mg of pregnenonlone the first few days I took it.
After continuing, it seemed to mellow out.
I think I was better able to tolerate supplements than you were, most caused no issue.
