Next month, I will be re-starting my raw vegan lifestyle. I've been eating unhealthy foods for quite a number of years...and I'm paying for it. I weigh 360 lbs (i'm only 5'3"). I have high cholesterol and high blood pressure. My grandmother passed away in December 2001 due to obesity related complications (she was only 62 years old).
I've attempted raw veganism a few times and fell off the wagon each time. This time, I am committed to becoming healthy again...and staying healthy. I will be 100% raw, no straying off the path. When I was raw, I had more energy, no labored breathing and my joints didn't hurt. By the way, I turned 30 this past June.
I have schizoaffective disorder and I am looking to cure myself of my illness naturally. Eating junk food is NOT healthy. It won't be easy (my journey), but I have no choice but to lose this weight and maintain my healthy weight (180 lbs).
