Every thing WILL "even out" as long as you stay consistent. You need to get into a pattern/rhythm that YOU can control. Can "tolerance happen" in the time frame you mention? Yes, tolerance can happen in as little as 4-6 weeks (which is why in Great Britain, benzos are strongly recommended to be utilized for sleep/anxiety for six weeks or less - and NOT as the 'drug of first choice')!
As far as upping to 15mg - only you know what you need - but 10mg 'up to' 15mg sounds like a pretty substantial jump. If it's necessary to stabilize, it's necessary...but don't go any higher than you have to go. Remember, it's going to take at least a week or two for the blood level to get the full effect from a few days of updosing. It sounds like it's possible that you're now taking a bit too much (but then again, the symptoms you're now reporting sound like 'typical symptoms of benzo use').
Basically, the effect you get from the first few days of updosing is going to provide relief, but as the days continue, the blood level will increase to even more than it was the first few days. At the end of two weeks, you may find what 'worked to resolve symptoms' the first few days, could end up being more than you really needed to eliminate tolerance symptoms.
At the proverbial 'end of the day', in order to have the most successful, symptom-free withdrawal...it's ALWAYS better to start withdrawing from a "little too much" than "a little too little"! However, there may always be 'adverse effects' that are ramped-up from taking more :::sigh::: Benzo hell - is somethingevery doctor that prescribes it (and every person responsible for it's production) should have to endure. THEN no one else would ever have to be a victim (except, of course, for those that know of it's dangers and take it anyway).
>>>Also, when you can, can you talk more about HC tolerance? That's really the case? Crap<<<
'Sorry, but yep, that's the case...especially with "hormone drugs". Example: insulin
Insulin is a pancreatic hormone. Many times diabetes is caused by a lack of insulin (from some type of pancreatic compromise)...so Pharma gives insulin to lower blood sugar. What has been shown over the years (both in tests and empirically) is that in the presence of ample insulin, the weakened/compromised pancreas actually slows production of insulin. Hey, that's it's job, right? (to distinguish how much insulin is needed and then make/deliver it). So it senses ample insulin in the bloodstream, and lessens it's production.
Diabetics typically need more & more insulin as the years progress...because their pancreas is making less & less (and becoming more & more compromised from not being used).
The same is true for the adrenals & hydrocortisone. Just like insulin, it initially relieves the symptoms and "balances the numbers" on the tests...but over time, more & more is needed to keep the same results - and the adrenals are weakened from under-use. This is why it's so tough for many to get off of HC.
It may seem like a "depressing downer", but the Truth does make us free! The fact is that our bodies are MIRACULOUS self-healing organisms, and it takes something as powerful as chemical poisons to cause this level of compromise. Yes, it's going to take some time (and it's likely going to be a rocky ride) before it's over - but after it's over, for the rest of your life, it will be impossible for you to ever 'be victimized & out of control' of your life & health ever again (unless of course, you knowingly walk right into it). Tens of thousands have made it through - YOU. WILL. TOO.!
