I know fasting is suppose to be a time for your body to rest and detox, but I am not really doing it for that. I am going to be fasting for 8 days to help me mentally prepare for the military and also to reduce my eating.
What I want to know is this
If I lift weights while fasting will I maintain my muscle or lose it?
Will the body use fat to repair the muscles? Or will I grow weaker?
If its ok to lift weights should I wait for ketosis to kick in before I start lifting?
How long should I lift for? 20 mins? 30 mins? 60 mins?
Again I already know that fasting is for detoxing and resting and this and that so no need to tell me that, I just need an answer to these questions. ^^ thank you!
