Looks like this study was an attempt to analogize the effect of the combined use of ethanol and caffeine on flatworm regeneration rates to fetal growth (or lack thereof).
I saw that the agents might have caused some delay in the regeneration but I didn't see anywhere where they actually paralyzed them. Maybe I missed something. I did just scan over it. It is a very well laid out study.
If it can paralyze them, I can see how it can be useful as long as it is long enough to be able to expel them.

Tapeworms as you mentioned?
How much caffeine are you planning to supplement with ? I would imagine that 200mg would be the maximum you would want to take.
