Went to the an American football game over the weekend,
Dallas Cowboys (my team) vs the Denver Broncos (nothing
like 100,000 people screaming for "their team"). At the
half time intermission, there was a dancing and a "statement" about the red ribbon "cure for cancer". Has everyone noticed its the in thing for celebs, athletes, TV personalities to fight for the cure for cancer? I believe they are well intentioned and sincere people, wanting to end the suffering from cancer, but I also believe they are being duped by large drug companies.
I recently began reading Lynn Farrow's book, The
Iodine Crisis, and was so impressed I ordered 5 books for friends and co-workers.
I don't know for sure if proper ioidine use with co-supplements cures cancer, but it is a HUGE deterrent from everything I've read.
I started my
Iodine journey in August of 2012. Slowly increasing to my 100mg dose per day. Sometimes titrating back to lower doses then increasing again. A note on that, I dropped back to 12.5 mg's for a while. Then a few months later was not feeling so hot, so increased
up to 100mg for the first time. When I did this, I again had the same detox reaction I had when I first started. My body was telling me the 12.5mg wasn't cutting it. So I re-detoxed again.
My experience is not that ioidine is a cure all for everything. I've learned,
and am still learning my body and clever things I need to do to stay healthy. I believe
Iodine is a high level component of healthy living.
A few stories..........
A few months after starting ioidine, a spoke with a neighbor friend who had been ill for around 15 years. Been to every doc on the planet. No help.
Slowly her life was being squeezed out of her. I suggested trying ioidine and she started on 12.5 mg's of ioderal per day. Immediately her health improved. She began riding a stationary bike, and spoke to me of going on a hike with her. Then, she became ill with perhaps a cold or something (?).
Her doc told her to stop taking ioidine for a brief while, until she felt better. She died one month later. She had cancer.
My sister died of cancer in '08. My uncle died of cancer. I work for a health care agency on the business side. I see, almost on a weekly basis, people coming out of the hospital, sent home to die of cancer. We just got
a new case today, prognosis: a few days to a few weeks to live: cancer.
A brillent surgeon, who should be enjoying his retirement, dead from cancer. His wife said, the medical community does not respect his medical accomplishments. Cancer does not
respect who you are. It kills.
There's nothing they can do. They have no answers, at least to my knowledge. From my reading, ioidine is a vital component to the cancer answer.
Some other notes, thanks Newport for the tip of magnesium malate, I switched maybe a month ago. Not a lot of good sources in the U.S., but I found what I
think is a pure brand. Ginagirl, I am slowly switching away from supplements with additives. Found a company in the U.S. that sells bulk, pure supplements
and I am making some of my own.
Saw a local doc about a freak skin burn I had recently. He is listed on breastcancerchoices.org.
Anyway, spoke briefly about ioidine. He is very much pro-ioidine and that was amazing to me.
Interesting that his recommendation is the 12.5-25 mg's per day. He personally has never gone over 50mg's. Really interesting, in his waiting room is a big flat screen TV, with a repeating message about the dangers of using harsh drugs to treat illness. How we're duped
by the FDA (in the U.S.). The need to fine natural approaches to cure illness. It was amazing
because I don't think you would seen this presentation 10 years ago. He actually teaches medicine at a large University here. I think this is pretty cool. Times are
changing. People want to be healthy.
Question for the intelligent...... I've had allergies yesterday and today, and noted a doctor
recommening curcumin for allergies. He said to take it with coconut oil, but curcumin is
fat soluble it will work better. I looked up sodium ascorbate and noticed it is fat soluable
also. Is it better to take a "fat soluble" supplement with an oil?? I noted that ascorbic acid
is water soluable. Do you need to take both??
Anyway, thumbs up to everyone here. I keep learning daily from the intelligent.
PS Ginagirl, that's quite a head of hair you got there!
