It is difficult to know what precedes acid reflux, because there is such a host of causes. How was I supposed to know what preceded my reflux problem?
I just went over the list of things causing reflux that I found on the internet. It could be drinking coffee, alchol, the use drugs that lower stomach acidity. Some just get it from longterm use of painkillers, whereas others from mineral deficiencies or candida.
It took reflection on my habits and remembering what set the stage. I was able to figure it out, but I still feel sorry for those who don't remember a thing, cause they used the kind of painkillers that decreased their ability to remember.
I found out that it is far more important to know what precedes it than what the symptoms are at present, because for the symptoms you can get short term solutions that can ease your situation and pain, but this will not resolve the problem. In the long run it can even make it worse. This happened to a person I knew well.
There are sites that can help one figure out what precedes the acid reflux problem so it becomes easier to get rid of it before it gets worse and develops into a chronic desease and even worse than that into cancer.
