The first round (meat eaters) of the American Gut Study results are in. There were many similarities of bacteria shown in the charts. What is interesting is that the same person had none of the same bacteria in their skin, their mouth, and their gut. What this means is it is likely you do not have the same bacteria from stool test (or possibly fungus?) in other places in your body.
