I have been reading all day and I seem to be seeing different info. I'm hoping someone can clarify. I bought the J. Crow bottle of 2% Lugol's and it doesn't say on it how much Iodine is in one drop. I read in one place that it is 2.5mg and then in another place that one drop is 1.25mg. Does anyone know? Also, I am confused about what constitutes a certain mg dosage of Iodine for Iodoral. What I mean is - the iodoral bottle says 1 pill is 5mg Iodine and 7.5mg Iodide. So when you all say to get up to 50mg of IODINE - does that mean just the Iodine, or does the Iodide count in that mg number as well? I hope I am making sense. :) Thanks for all your help everyone! All my supplements came today so I am very excited to start tomorrow.
