Anybody ever read Stephen King's short story called The Jaunt? Scariest thing I ever read and it's not even a "horror" story. It would give Robert Heinlein nightmares.

This is a reply to # 2,098,969I decided to read the synopsis, and no, I haven't read it. For others, this is a complete synopsis and gives up the entire story right to the end.

No thanks, but it does make me wonder if the life we're presently living is a jaunt, but in the form of a mass dream; I have wondered it for years, now.
