Hi Ricky,
I use ARL but not their supplements. I was told that potassium supplements often have little effect on hair levels themselves. Only when the body has reached good levels and ratios of calcium /magnesium will the body naturally raise its own level of potassium. Magnesium is synergistic with potassium and I'll think you'll find most of us are on magnesium.
I think a lot of those that have switched to TEI take issue with this theory and I have yet to see it be true for me. My calcium and magnesium levels and ratio is getting closer to normal so I'm hoping to see improvement on my potassium on my next test.
Also, just a thought...aluminum often displaces magnesium. And supplementing with magnesium chelates aluminum. So in theory if you are aluminum toxic, then your mag will be low, and hence your potassium also.
