Yeah, good luck goldstander. I hope it really works out for you. Being that we have an idea of what hyaluronidase, hydrocortisone, & neomycin do; this treatment sounds very logical. I wish I could find a doctor that was as open-minded as the one you're seeing.

I just had all of my mercury/amalgam fillings removed yesterday. I'm experimenting with that being how my patch test came out positive for thimerosal, which was an additive used in the "silver" fillings at the time I got them.

My lips crusted up really bad in the doctor's office because I went in for a cleaning too, and my mouth got MEGA dry from being stretched & kept open. They were so damn dry that one of the girls almost rubbed a q-tip full of Vaseline on them. To be honest, I told the majority of the staff (so many fine women working there too...UNGH!) there what I had and they were actually pretty impressed at how much I knew about my condition. I even impressed two really cute chicks in that office with the way I spoke & carried myself when I was talking to them about it. Once they knew about my condition, it really lightened the load of the constant weight of me being self conscious about my EC.
