ok thought i would post this as a one time post for all you guys struggling with stretch marks. please don't ask questions as I won't be logging in again but I wanted to share how I am tackling them and say that have tried most of what is out there this is what works best
Bit of background:
Stretch marks are a DEFICIENCY in vitamins, minerals (both more than likely), so although they may be caused by weight gain, they are not always and many people who don't gain weight can succumb to them. even those that get them from weight gain likely get them because they are deficient in the above. as well as the above deficiency some people may produce too much cortisol (be highly strung) which may also contribute
having tried the whole gambit of things out there over years (sometimes with improvements) and reduced them I still had them so here is what i did
1. liposomal vitamin c - this can be taking directly into the bloodstream unlike normal vitamin c, because it is wrapped if you like in a nano bubble, google it for more information, but you can you buy it at amazon and various other places on the web. its expensive though so you might want to try making your own for which you would need an ultrasonic cleaner, google making your own liposomal vitamin c for details on how to do it as the information is widely available. not sure that making your own actually works quite as well as the bought stuff but dyor..
2.juicing machine. affordable for most people, don't spend a fortune on a juicer just buy a mid range product that will extract the juice from vegetables to your satisfaction. you need to make sure that you use the juicer daily and get a lot of vitamin and nutrients this weay. as a guideline i juice 5 carrots, i pepper, 4 tomatoes, a courgette, half a cucumber as a minimum each morning, I also eat a lot of half cooked veg during the day, don't eat any soft veg as all the goodness is gone I am afraid you have to eat it a bit hard. the pulp from the juicer can be used for making soup so you don;t need to throw it all away. other veg to consider would be courgettes, celery, kale etc etc just google for more information. the reason you need a juicer is that to eat the amount of raw veg you need a day would be tiresome this is the easiest way to get the nutrients believe me
3.a method of removing skin, cheapest method would be fine grade sandpaper, so you would look at doing a weekly or fortnightly sanding to encourage cells in problem areas to be active.
4. water, lots of it, seriously, drink minimum 2 litres per day and up to 3 litres. keep tea and coffee to a minimum, you can still have them but not too much per dayk, same applies to cola drinks and the like
How it works:
so you need to take the vitamin c (at least 6 grams per day spread throughout the day so not all at once) and also drink at least one good quality juice drink per day ( you can drink more than one juice drink if you want to in fact if you can drink more all the better( and eat lots of vegatables during the day. do a sand every now and again on problem areas as you want to stimulate the repair there,
you'll start to notice difference after only a few weeks, but it takes time to actually repair so you have to be prepared to do this long term, in fact if you are the type that gets lots of stretch marks for no obvious reason, you probably need to stay on this type of regime (minus the sandpaper)forever.
just remember you are deficient, deficient deficient and you have to give your body what it needs to repair. do all of this and the marks should repair over time.
bye and good luck :-)
