Somebody in this group (Mr. Cuddly perhaps?) introduced me to Vitol liquid CO-Q10 several months ago. The last time I ordered some it was becoming scarce, and currently I can find only a small number of suppliers that claim to have it in stock -- all at $29.95 or higher.
First, does anyone know of a reasonably priced source? (The first bottle I bought was ~$20 +shipping.)
Second, is there a good alternative?

Uh-oh, it looks like the item has been discontinued. I went to the Vitol site and it's not listed there anymore. How odd! Maybe you can contact them and convince them to sell it again. This is a reply to # 2,087,860There's nothing magical about Vitol. After reading the studies about CO-Q10 applied directly to gums in an oil base, I decided to see what would happen if I used some with my oil pulling. (WOW - but that's another story).
I searched Amazon and was looking mostly for 3 things - 1) Q10 that wouldn't taste awful since it would stay in my mouth for so long 2) liquid Q10 that wasn't already in an oil base. This because the oil would almost certainly be rancid and also taste bad. 3) a higher quality source of Q10 (without the additives) than you'd find in the supermarket.
Keep those things in mind while you're searching for a new source and you should hopefully be fine. And of course when you find one you like, don't forget to post back to your buddies on CZ!

Hi, I used Vitol Coq10 for several years I felt like I could tell a big difference when using this product. In fact I felt is was the best on the market for any price. They stopped manufacturing it a while back and here is what I believe happened and I've seen this happen before with other produces that really work. I believe that a pharmaceutical company bought out the Coq10 from Vitol and stopped making it because it worked and was a threat to them. I was providing the Vitol to a friend who has Parkinson's Disease and they were getting better control of there problems. I also read from a consumer site that Vitol was less that 4% CoQ10 and I don't believe that what so ever. At this time I use Now Foods CoQ10 600 mg.

I have plenty of Vitol left, but after purusing Amazon my next COQ10 would probably be the NOW liquid COQ10:

It's only 100 mgs but that's probably better since I could only use a quarter of a dropper of the Vitol. Got supposedly a decent orange taste, sweetened with zyltetol, also has b and e complex and is half the price of the Vitol.
It's $13 and eligibile for Amazon prime. Anyone wanna take one for the team and try it?

This is a reply to # 2,093,726Hello! I realize this thread is old but I thought I'd let you know I am using this NOW brand of liquid COQ10. I made a recent post about it but no one responded. I pulled with it for the first time this morning, and while nothing amazing happened, nothing bad happened either. I did feel a little tingle in my gums, and hopefully this will lead to further healing.

This is a reply to # 2,191,926That's great! The thing about oil pulling with Q10 is that the effect of the Q10 is so magnified that even lower grades of Q10 should be effective (not that the NOW brand necessarily is).
The two things you can count on is by adding Q10:
1) Your gum healing health will be turbo charged;
2) No other way of ingesting Q10 will have anywhere near as much absorbability or potency.
The day before yesterday I didn't sleep a wink for the whole night. Usually I'd be so mentally wasted the next day I wouldn't even bother coming into work.
I OP'd with Q10 added, and actually sailed through the day at work (doing some fairly complex projects) until about 5pm when I hit proverbial wall.
I was amazed,

This is a reply to # 2,087,860Consumer Labs tested several CoQ10 products. The Vitol liquid q10 "maximum strength" 200mg was the only product that failed, and it failed miserably. It contained less than 4% of the claimed amount of CoQ10
