this is a bit more complicated case than most...coz my mom has cirrhosis, kidney disease (30%), and diabetic.....2 yrs ago, she was told that she had "spots" on her pancreas...if it's under 3mm and it doesnt grow, it's still not deemed as a threat...last year, my brother passed away, and in some ways i'm sure this triggered some distress in the pancreas as now it's at 2mm! the doctor has said she is bit malnourished and she needs to eat some fats (and that basically means, her downward spiral is slowly happening)....i've been googling the hell out of the internet and would appreciate any feedback of previous pancreatic survivors or people involved in treating others with this condition.
this is what i have already tried or am still doing:
-
juicing carrots, kale, granny smith apples, with some lemon juice for her...
- putting bit of garlic into her stir frys
- we try to get her on more salads and fish vs. meat..
- virgin coco oil in the morning...
- kamut/rye/spelt bread instead of whole wheat.....
- started doing the black seed oil once daily in the morning...
- now trying to adjust more to her blood type A diet
- barley water every now and then
i may try to boost her black seed to another tsp before bedtime, and may try to do the actual grounded up seeds instead of the oil..they say it's more potent this way? I used manuka money but now people are saying manuka honey is bad for health?
what more can we do for her? any suggestions? with her liver and kidney situation, i am tempted not to go full on kamikaze on combined protocols
we have not told her any of this..., because the way she is, she will no doubt, overthink things...not very optimistic personality.
sorry this post may be a bit all over the place, it's just very hard to process and be logical and organized trying to voice out everything...my remaining family members just tell me to give up n let it go...but i say, i aint going to give up without a fight first! there's always HOPE!
thx to all for reading.
