Hello everyone.
Although I've always had good teeth/gums, I've been having a lot of dental health problems since I moved house:
quick plaque buildup on lower teeth
cavities appearing on molars
receding gum
irritated gum
two front teeth growing apart
I solved the cavities problem ( I'm referring to them as cavities but they weren't more that small brown spots ) by not dipping my toothbrush into the tap water when brushing, and I believe that the receding gum was caused by mouth-wash which I used in an attempt to stem the buildup of plaque ( after I stopped using the mouth-wash and began oil-pulling the gums have stopped receding and have actually grown a little to become more firmer ). I still don't know whats causing the buildup of plaque but that doesn't worry me as much as the gap that is growing bigger between my two front teeth aswell as the irritation on the gum above them. I've always had gapped teeth but it began getting bigger roughly a year ago. The irritation above those two teeth has appeared a couple of months ago recently spread to lateral incisors. It seems to be slowly eating away the gum ( I cant ascertain this however because the gum may be retracting because the front incisors are pivoting and 'leaning' on the lateral incisors ). I don't really know what to do. I've always had good teeth before I moved house, but ever since the move I've been having these problems. I don't think I have any serious gum/bone disease because I believe that would be too much of a coincidence. My diet hasn't really changed and I've completely cut out the use of tap water when brushing/boiling the kettle etc. Could anyone help me out and give some advise? Thanks.
