Hi Yeo91
My experience has been that detox shouldn't really be noticable, I don't buy into that whole thing of 'you feel bad on this supplement due to detox'.
If I have felt bad it has always been because i was taking something that was wrong for me.
For me I had problems along the way with kelp, vitamin d, fish oil and paramin and I was told that this was a normal part of the program, well it wasn't. I was having those problems due to potassium loss once I started taking potassium I have been making massive progress forward from the very first day.
The reason I am adding zinc in now is because zinc helps your body retain potassium.
Honestly if I had of stuck with the Dr Wilson version of the program I would not have made the progress I have. The recommendation I am following now are the labs and Theresa Vernons'.
As for how much progress I have made, when I started I basically could not leave the house due to extreme dizziness plus a lot of other symptoms. Now I can do what I please for the most part, I don't worry about making plans for the next week because I know that I will be ok to follow through with them. Life is easy and fun again, the dizziness and blood
Sugar issues are 100% gone along with the other symptoms. Even my energy is at a decent level as long as I eat red meat.
I would say that these days I am higher functioning than the average person on the street.
I was like you for a longtime and worried I would never get better but i am well on my way. I think NB is great but if you have been on it for over a year and are still getting worse I would say there is something wrong with your program.
Best of luck.
