It makes some noise with its fan running, but I do not find it overly noisy or annoying. Of course, I run a box fan in my bedroom all the time to keep the air moving and usually can't even hear the distiller in the bedroom. The distiller is less than 15 feet from the bedroom door, my house is very small.

It's better than drinking pharmacuetical drugs and cysts in your water supply. Be sure to replace the minerals with a supplement (Colloidal Minerals).

No water distiller does well in small areas. You will want the window opened a litle or near an exhaust fan. We have the largest waterwise distiller in our bathroom for 9 years now; the use of the exhaust fan makes this possible.
