I am a 53-year-old woman with Type 1 Diabetes, and vascular, kidney, and cardiac complications. About five years ago I developed symptoms of Morgellons disease -- I nearly scratched my left arm down to the bone before they let up. After a few months, I saw red and blue fibers; about a month ago, I saw the fibers actually moving around on my skin like tiny snakes. These movements are fast, and the only reason I see them at all is that I know they are there. Yesterday, I saw white hair-like fibers emerge into broken skin and retreat. I extracted one of these -- I have not seen or heard of anyone experiencing them.
I drew out first a short, white fiber, and the what I can only describe as a tiny slug-like entity that was producing red and blue fibers from one end, and seemed to be weaving them together somehow. The longer I held this object in my tweezers, the larger the "cage" of fibers grew around that fingertip. The fibers are easily wiped away, but within seconds are replaced by this little whate whatever-it-is. I placed the slug on a clean sheet of plastic, and left it overnight. In fact, I withdrew several others, always finding the same results. I saved all of these. When I examined them this morning, their activities were exactly the same as yesterday -- no deterioration outside the body.
This latest step in the progression of my Morgellons is the creepiest yet, though all of the progression is creepy. I can't find a reference or a photo anywhere of this entity. Any ideas on where I might look next? Thank you.
