Both of those products are made using only pure water and 0.9999 pure gold.

In the case of Utopia Silver, they use spring water which is passed through a series of three filters to make sure it is ultra pure.  Each filter element, which is replaced several times each year, costs more than the most popular home generator models.

Personally, I am more than a little skeptical of any colloidal gold made via chemical process - and I would not touch any colloidal product which used animal protein or other substances to artificially suspend the metal particles.
