This sounds like me when I got sick. It felt like I started getting hypoglycemia and only certain meats, mainly beef, was the only thing that made it feel like it would raise my blood sugar. Fruits and veggies wouldn't and would sometimes make me feel worse if I ate too much of them because that meant I wasn't eating enough meat.
Turns out it wasn't hypoglycemia, but what's called Toxic Hunger, a toxic build-up from eating too much animal products and only eating animal products gave me temporary relief, just like feeling weak from drug withdrawals and that drug will temporarily take the withdrawal effects away.
The cure was to cut out almost all animal products and switch to a plant-based and those hypoglycemic-like symptoms went away within a week. See here:
