I would try activated charcoal.

Some people really can't stand the smell of garlic and can't be any where near it. I only know one guy who's company and usefulness is worth kowtowing to his wishes and sitting on the opposite side of the room when I visit.

The best way to cover up garlic smell is for your friends and family to start eating raw garlic too. If they can't afford it, tell them to grow it. End story :-)

Chewing parsley might help.
